What we are looking for - Paper Street Media, LLC is hiring for a FULL-TIME Lead Designer. The primary role of the Lead Designer is to be responsible for managing, mentoring, and elevating the graphic design team while ensuring high-quality, on-brand visual execution across all marketing initiatives. This role balances creative leadership, quality control, and workflow management, acting as the main bridge between design, marketing, and creative operations. This job is a REMOTE position.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of graphic designers, providing clear direction, constructive feedback, and ongoing support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Review, approve, and QA all design deliverables to ensure visual excellence, brand consistency, and alignment with campaign objectives before assets go live.
- Translate marketing briefs, campaign goals, and strategic priorities into clear creative direction for the design team, ensuring efficient execution and strong visual storytelling.
- Ensure consistent brand expression across all visual assets, including web, email, paid media, social media, promotions, and internal marketing materials.
- Assign tasks, manage priorities, and coordinate workloads to meet deadlines while maintaining quality and team efficiency.
- Partner closely with Studio, Creative Ops, Sales, and Growth teams to align timelines, expectations, and deliverables.
- Help define and maintain templates, visual guidelines, and reusable design systems to improve scalability, speed, and consistency.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve creative quality, workflows, and team processes based on feedback, performance insights, and operational needs.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of experience in graphic design, digital design, or visual communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in a senior, lead, or people-management role.
- Proven experience managing or mentoring graphic designers.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality digital design work.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of branding, layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience working in high-volume, campaign-driven production environments.
- Fluent in English (native or near-native proficiency).
Nice To Haves:
- Experience in SVOD, entertainment, media, or subscription-based businesses.
- Familiarity with marketing funnels and performance-driven design.
- Experience building or maintaining design systems and visual playbooks.
- Experience collaborating with Creative Ops or project management teams.
- Basic understanding of performance metrics (CTR, engagement, conversion).
